K: Hi, I just want to talk a little about age differences. Today was a member in my family's birthday and my best friend (M) and I made them a cake. Well the cake turned out ok but we had some different opinions. M is a year and 30 days younger than i and we don't usually have trouble with this but today we did. I knew how to do a cake and so did she, but.......... when it came to making frosting we had some trouble. I am bossy and I know that. She is bossy and she's know that ( she said so) (LOL :)). But, I 'think' I know a little more because I'm older but I'm not perfect by any stretch. And I think she thinks she knows too but IDK, I'm not her. So to the point. If you have a bff that is younger than you by a good stretch, such as M and I, be careful not to be bossy or lose it. A on the flip side, If you have a bff that is older than you, you need to be aware that they might know a little more and don't be afraid to admit that you don't know, it's not a shame. Honesty come first in kind of relationship, so be honest and if you have this kind of problem with your bff tell them " Hey I think we need to have a real talk about somethings that happened recently" and if they are your Bff for real, they will listen and realize the problem. ONE more thing, to the OldER Bff, don't treat the younger one like a baby, (people have done that to me since, hm FOREVER and it's annoying and try not to do that with my friends) So try not to do that, trust me it will more than likely hurt their feelings if you treat them like a 2yr old. And to the YoungER ones, don't be like"your treating me like a baby" if they are not. SO BE AWARE! of the way things like this. It will be for the best! AND if you have a bigger problem or you don't know how to come up to your bff, ask and adult or pray to God about it. Well until next time C u SOON!
